Promoting entrepreneurship – EU funding for Vudina Business Zone

Ljubljana, 29 March 2021 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EU funding for the project “Promoting entrepreneurship in Natura 2000 – Vudina Business Zone”. The project worth over EUR 940,000 will be implemented by the municipality Velika Polana and will receive nearly EUR 700,000 of European Regional Development Fund support.

As part of the project, the Vudina Business Zone will benefit in terms of municipal arrangement of land with associated road, as well as the establishment of energy and telecommunications infrastructure. This will facilitate development of entrepreneurship in the region.

By setting up appropriate infrastructural conditions for doing business, the municipality Velika Polana will be able to increase added value of small and medium-sized enterprises and create new jobs.
