Investment in education is an investment in our future: EU funding for new approaches to teaching and learning

Ljubljana, 6 May 2022 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EU funding for the project ''e-content, e-services to support new approaches to education''. The project will receive funding from the European Social Fund and will promote increased use of modern ICT in education.

As part of the project, the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport, the Academic and Research Network of Slovenia – Arnes and the Institute of Information Science will fully upgrade e-learning content and e-learning services and offer support to primary and secondary school students and their teachers in the period 2021-2023. The project will contribute to the improvement of teaching and learning process that will be based on the use of innovative approaches, to the improvement of student competence and learning outcomes and to increased professional capacity of members of education staff as a result of increased use of modern ICT in teaching and learning.
