Ljubljana, 31 August 2017 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, Managing Authority for Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund, issued a grant decision for the project “Inovativen.si”. The available funding under the call for proposals is EUR 1 million with European Social Fund contribution amounting to EUR 800,000.

The project aims to restructure the public sector by making it more flexible, agile and open. This will be achieved by implementing activities to change the modus operandi of public administration. The project “Inovativen.si” will cover trainings for public service employees in the field of innovative methods, enhancing a systemic approach to solving complex problems by thus providing a quick response to a given situation. New methods, approaches and tools for finding solutions which put users of public services in the centre will be developed and introduced. In enhancing innovative approaches, training and developing innovative concepts to enhance the quality and accessibility of public services the project will focus on activities which focus on meeting user needs and enhancing the involvement and consistent enforcement of civil rights of vulnerable groups. The project will contribute to opening up of institutions within the public sectors as well as other sectors which will build confidence in public institutions and the confidence between public institutions and various sectors.
