EU funding to promote motivated, well-trained and flexible young job seekers
Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, Managing Authority for European Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund, has issued a grant-award decision for the project Entrepreneurship, flexibility and individualisation for better employment opportunities for young people. The project is worth EUR 200,000 with the European Social Fund contribution standing at EUR 170,000.
Based on projects, exchanges and cooperation with foreign experts, the Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Vocational Education and Training (CPI) carries out activities for of individualisation of learning and teaching, and their goal is to provide the greatest possible opportunities for developing students’ potential. As part of the co-financed project, the goal is to establish how secondary vocational and technical schools discover and take into account differences between individuals and the methods, approaches and work organisation they apply to develop the potential of individuals.
As part of the project, special attention will be given to the participation of schools and companies in the individualised inclusion of students in practical training. Theoretical bases will be explored, previous empirical findings and current practice in this field will be analysed, and the findings will be used for the development of more flexible learning pathways and didactic models. Together with the companies, CPI will also develop the bases that will actually enable longer and better training of students in companies. The project’s objective is to encourage motivated, well-trained and flexible young job seekers.
