EU funding for tracking and documenting competencies developed through student work experience
Ljubljana, 23 May 2018 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for ERDF, ESF and the Cohesion Fund, issued a grant decision for the project ‘’Tracking and documenting the competencies developed through student work experience’’. The total project cost is estimated at EUR 133,355, and the project will receive a contribution from the European Social Fund standing at EUR 106,684.
The project aims to facilitate tracking of student work experience, which will allow the development of an IT-supported system recording the skills, and competencies gained through work experience as a tool supporting the development of lifelong career orientation. The project will improve employment opportunities of young jobseekers, contribute to raising the awareness of employers about the importance of the skills and competencies gained through temporary and occasional work of students, and encourage young people to gain the skills that are most sought after in the labour market, while enhancing cooperation between the relevant labour market actors.
