EU funding for start-up of companies in problem areas in municipalities Hrastnik, Radeče, Trbovlje and Pokolpje

Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, Managing Authority for the European Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund, issued a grant decision for the “Call for proposals for incentives for starting companies in problem areas in 2020-2021 (P2R 2020-2021)” Which was published today in the Official Gazette by the Slovenian Enterprise Fund. The total amount of funds available under the call for proposals is EUR 2.9 million, of which the European Regional Development Fund will contribute more than EUR 2.1 million.

 

The purpose of the call for proposals is to encourage the start-up of newly established companies in the problem areas of the municipalities of Hrastnik, Radeče and Trbovlje and the municipalities of Pokolpje. The financial support will improve the operations and implementation of the development potentials of companies in order to reduce their mortality rate in the initial period of operation and competitiveness in domestic and foreign markets.

 

The goals of the call for proposals are to reduce the development gap in problem areas, start-up new companies and create new jobs.
