EU funding for research and development projects to remedy the consequences of COVID-19
Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a grant decision for the call for proposals “Research and development projects to remedy the consequences of COVID-19”. The funding available under the said call for proposals amounts to EUR 5 million of which EUR 4 million is European Regional Development Fund contribution.
The call for proposals was published by SPIRIT Slovenia Business Development Agency and provides funding for research and development projects and investment projects that aim to establish production capacities to remedy the consequences of COVID-19. The goal is to enable companies and consortia to preserve their research-oriented activity despite the crisis and to launch new projects and successfully close the projects that have already been launched the completion of which would have prevented the crisis. The goal is to support the implementation (launch or completion) of at least 20 projects and thus preserve the development and investment orientation of the economy also in the crisis due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
