Ljubljana, 5 January 2018 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for ERDF, ESF and Cohesion fund, issued a grant decision for the call for proposals ‘’Fostering the implementation of R&D projects (TRL 3-6)’’. The call makes a total of EUR 45 million available, of which EUR 36 million comes from the European Regional Development Fund.
The call for proposals that is to be published today by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport focuses on providing funds for the implementation of multiannual (at least 24 months) projects targeting research and development of new technological solutions, products, services and processes. The aim of the call for proposals is to support projects that seek to deliver new products and services with high added value and with a market potential recognised on an international scale and which can compete better at the global level.
The call for proposals targets projects that bring together the academic sphere and the economy. It encourages R&D projects that pool knowledge and competences, are characterised by scientific and technological excellence and have market potential in global networks and value chains, such projects should be sustainable in terms of being capable of implementation after the co-financing period and in terms of securing enough own resources to back the implementation.
