EU funding for purchase and instalment of electricity generation facilities using solar energy

Ljubljana, 26 March 2019 – Government Office for Development of European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for ERDF, ESF and Cohesion Fund, issued a grant decision for the call for proposals to co-finance the purchase and instalment of electricity generation facilities using solar energy for the 2019-2022 period. The call which makes a total of EUR 10 million available will receive Cohesion Fund support and will be published by the Ministry of Culture this Friday.

The call for proposals will co-finance projects focusing on the purchase and instalment of electricity generation facilities using solar energy; more specifically the purchase of photovoltaic modules and equipment directly connected to electricity generation by using solar energy, power reservoirs as well as establishing connections with the electricity power network.

The funding will be made available to companies and sole entrepreneurs in line with Companies Act, and cooperatives in line with Cooperatives Act.
