EU funding for protective equipment in small and medium-sized enterprises
Ljubljana, 2 July 2020 - Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a grant decision for the project “COVID19 Purchase of protective equipment”. The project worth EUR 10 million and implemented by the Public Fund of the Republic of Slovenia for Entrepreneurship will receive European Regional Development Fund support in the amount of over EUR 7.2 million.
The purpose of the project is to ensure adequate safety of employees and safe operation of small and medium enterprises during and after the epidemic COVID19 as a preventative measure against the re-spread of the virus. The project will co-finance the purchase of protective equipment (washable face masks, disposable face masks, protective gloves, disinfectants, contactless thermometers for measuring body temperature) to provide adequate protection against infections and the spread of COVID19 virus. The funds will be allocated to companies through a public call. An individual company will be able to receive a maximum of EUR 9,999.00 of support.
