EU funding for promotion, animation and learning support in the period 2018-2022
Ljubljana, 8 June 2018 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for ERDF, ESF and Cohesion Fund, issued a grant decision for the ‘’Call for proposals for financing promotion, animation and learning support in the period 2018-2022’’ which will be published today by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport. The call for proposals makes EUR 2.1 million available, of which a little under EUR 1.7 million comes from the European Social Fund.
The purpose of the call for proposals is to increase adult participation in lifelong learning and improve the competencies and their match with labour market needs, enhance employability and mobility, and foster personal growth and engagement in modern society. The call for proposals aims to increase educational attainment levels and improve professional competencies by providing promotion and animation activities and offering learning support to participants in adult education enrolled in programmes seeking to increase educational attainment.
The call for proposals targets adults who have not successfully completed secondary vocational or secondary general or technical education or have not received the title of master craftsman, foreman or shop manager, and gives priority to adults who have completed at maximum primary education and/or are aged 45 and over.
