EU funding for new organisational forms of treating people after an illness or injury

Ljubljana, 16 November 2022 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EUR 1.5 million for a call for proposals Developing new organisational forms of treating people who require short-term institutional care after an injury or illness. The total funding comes from the European Social Fund and React-EU.

The call for proposals co-finances the development of new organisational forms of short-term institutional care for people who live at home but whose ability to care for themselves is temporarily reduced after an illness or injury. Their personal physician recommends short-term care, as foreseen by the call for proposals, which would improve their ability to care for themselves and prolong staying in their home environment. The aim is to include 320 people in such short-term care and establish four entry points for the inclusion of individuals in short-term care.

Ministry of Health will publish the call for proposals, whose total funding coming from the European Social Fund and React-EU, in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia this Friday, 18 November 2022.
