EU funding for energy renovation of public buildings in Celje and Novo mesto

Ljubljana, 30 April 2019 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for ERDF, ESF and Cohesion Fund, has issued a grant decision for the projects “Energy renovation of the central hospital facility of the new hospital in Celje” and “Energy renovation of a public building owned by the Republic of Slovenia (the building in Novo mesto)”.

The value of the first project amounts to a little under EUR 7.4 million of which the contribution from the Cohesion Fund stands at a little over EUR 1.8 million. The value of the second project amounts to a little over EUR 1.2 million of which the contribution from the Cohesion Fund stands at a little over EUR 315,000.

The first project will focus on energy renovation of the central hospital facility of the new hospital in Celje, with the following measures: thermal protection of external walls, thermal protection of the roof, replacement of building fixtures and upgrade of energy monitoring software. 28,444 square metres of net floor area will be renovated.

The second project will focus on energy renovation of a public building owned by the Republic of Slovenia, located at Kandinjska 21 in Novo mesto. 2,595.00 square metres of net floor area will be renovated.
