EU funding for e-business of SMEs
Ljubljana, 1 September 2017 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, Managing Authority for European Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund, issued a grant decision for the call for proposals for establishing and upgrading e-business of SMEs in the 2017-2018 period. The call for proposals was made public today, namely by the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology. The available funding under the call amounts to EUR 2.5 million of which EUR 2 million comes from European Regional Development Fund.
The aim of the call is to co-finance establishing and upgrading e-business and thus supporting small and medium-sized enterprises. E-business will enable SMEs appearance in global value chains and new markets and enhance their international competitiveness by also improving and enhancing their interaction with foreign business partners, collecting and sending information and improving the relations along the supply chain.
The call for proposals focuses on:
- e-business with partners
- digitalisation of SMEs appearance in trade fairs
- web pages for foreign markets
- online trading
- product selling videos

- The aim of the call for proposals is to support 82 companies in establishing and upgrading their e-business.
