EU funding for digital transformation in SMEs
Ljubljana, 18 October – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for the ERDF, the ESF and the Cohesion Fund, has issued a grant decision for the call for proposals ‘’Incentives for digital transformation in SMEs’’ which is to be published by the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology. The total funding made available under the call for proposals stands at EUR 12.4 million and comes from the ERDF.
The call for proposals aims to support the growth and development of SMEs through investment in digitalisation of supply and/or sale chains, building of management capacity, rolling out of digital business models, and through investment encouraging digital transformation of SMEs, improving their production and operation while creating added value per employee.
The objective of the call is to support digital transformation in eligible SMEs by encouraging their transition to digital business models and helping them keep pace with the emerging digital market trends, while building employee capacity and improving performance, and adding value to employees in supported SMEs.
