Energy efficiency: EU funding for energy-saving renovation of the Residential Care Home of dr. France Bergelj Jesenice
Ljubljana, 4 February 2022 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EU funding for the project Energy-saving renovation of the Residential Care Home of dr. France Bergelj Jesenice. The project will receive Cohesion Fund support.
The project will result in the energy-saving renovation of buildings B, C and D of the Residential Care Home of dr. France Bergelj Jesenice with 6,612.50 square metres being renovated. The energy-saving renovation includes renovating the façade, replacing the windows and doors, thermal insulation of the roof, installation of railings on balconies, changing the roof covering, thermal insulation of the external walls from the inside in building B, conversion of control equipment in the district heating station, earthing of the lightning conductor, lighting renovation and a few other energy-saving updates.
Energy-saving renovation of the Residential Care Home of dr. France Bergelj Jesenice will improve energy efficiency and thus reduce operating costs.
The project is planned to be completed by the end of 2022.
